Tomorrow marks IMPACT’s 21st anniversary. I have been a member of this organization since I was in first year college. I became Vice President for External Affairs then President of this community oriented student organization. I saw how the organization rise and rise and was a part of its greatest glory, being THE HALL OF FAME for more than 13 years. The organization has been true to its trilogy of SERVICE, DEDICATION and EXCELLENCE. We have transformed the lives of the people in the communities through our various community service activities. As we transform the lives of the people in the community, we are also transforming ourselves. Personally, I have redefined the word “activitism”, that the word now for means being active in community services. That the true people are people with low origin, the marginalized.  I learned a lot in the organization, what I am today, a great part of it are my learnings in the org.

This 21st anniversary, we bow to continue our mission of helping the communities, by being great through upholding the tradition of excellence and service to the community. There are of reasons to celebrate, and there are also a lot of things to do.

I am greatly honored to be one of IMPACT members. I believe that in every individual, there is IMPACT in him.
